Savannah's senior photos

Hard to believe that it was time to take Savannah's senior photos! She worked hard and graduated a year early. On a day when the weather was cooperating, we headed to the new park on Naef Road for her shoot. Taryn and Macey came to assist. I've noticed one of the current trends in portrait photography is using cement, open fields and interesting doors as backdrops for photos. I thought that this park would have the most variety of backdrops to test.
We took her photos among trees, on the playground (a few), out on the grass, at a bridge, against the stone wall of the bathrooms, across the street around an old gate, and in a tree. But my favorites were at the cement wall which is part of the sidewalk on Naef (I had to be on alert for passing cars!) and the ones in an overgrown field (I didn't realize it was there and was quite happy to discover it). Savannah has just developed allergies this year, and we didn't realize until that night how much the grassy field affected her! But the pictures were wonderful!
