senior photos at the land lab

i was so excited when i put this photo shoot on my calendar. not only would i get to take this beautiful girl's senior photos, but we would shoot them at the north clackamas land lab--a first for me. i haven't been there since my 21 year old daughter went there on a field trip in kindergarten!

it had been rainy all week, but we were lucky to have sunshine for our session. she is a member of the ffa and wore her jacket for part of the shoot.
she wanted to be photographed with her prize-winning lamb. the lamb was quite a cooperative photo subject.

the land lab, a working farm, had plenty of great places for posing--fences, posts, barns, trees and more.
i loved her boots!
we went into the orchard for some of these shots. We also went to one of the sheds made from red corrugated metal that had turned rusty with time. i love the look of the corrugated red as a backdrop. i'm trying to figure out how i can have one at home!

i took this one at a wedding dinner we shot a couple of weeks earlier. love the backlight.
