i was privileged to shoot this couple's 50th wedding anniversary.
they never had the opportunity to cut the cake at their wedding, so their kids provided a cake just for them to cut.
they wanted a photo with their great-grandkids. some were still napping, and even then, we were less than successful with those who were awake. here we are--the photographer & parents & other relatives--all doing whatever we could to get the kids to look, smile, or not cry. you can see how we did right in the photo!
this cutie was just happy to be at the party!
grandparents with their grandchildren (and some of the great grandchildren). only one grandchild was not able to attend the party.
