for all who are waiting, finally the wedding!

when it's your own daughter's wedding (and you're one of the photographers), it's a lot harder to edit the volumes of photos you take and gather from family and friends.
here are my favorites (and there are a lot) of all the photos from the wedding, reception and open house (and a few more).

i loved these pictures of the bride & groom. these were my top seven.
i realized after i selected them that none have the couple facing the camera.

here are other bride and groom photos i liked that i put in several collages (click on the collage to see it bigger).

here is the handsome groom.

here are some bridal photos we took a couple months after the wedding. tay and i tried to find a natural area near South Jordan (where i was staying). we followed the google map and just found a subdivision, so we used the fence and the cement wall nearby because we both had somewhere else to go.

here are some of the group photos--of family and of the wedding party. the best part of the whole day (besides seeing my daughter marry a wonderful man) was being surrounded by family and friends who were there to support us on this great day!
the reception was held at the marshall house in vancouver. it was a beautiful old victorian.

the decorations were gorgeous (thank you to everyone who worked so hard!)
one of the best decorations were wedding photos of the parents and grandparents of the
bride & groom placed in old frames--so cool!

details at the reception

dancing at the reception

other reception activities
a very few candids from the reception

the open house was held in florence, oregon (home of the groom) a week after the honeymoon. the day had been gray, rainy and cold, but cleared off just in time for the gathering. it was beautiful.

here are a few other photos...
here they are coming out after getting their marriage license--so cute!

this one is our favorite

here are some ring shots--we didn't take any at the temple (like we usually do) and so i didn't have a bouquet to work with, but i got some fun shots.
i have one more set of photos to post--the open house details. they are on another computer, so later.
