on being inventive

Kathi & I were invited to take photos of a baby after her blessing (and some family shots too). Anytime we take photos "on location" at people's homes, it can be a challenge to get the right setting and lighting for photos. I didn't bring my backdrop stands (I don't know why not) and so to get the backdrop set up, we had to improvise. The family had a 6 foot long folding table they pulled out of the garage that we leaned up against the wall and then covered with my drape. Of course, we took dozens. Here a some of my favorites. I really loved the photo of Grandpa kissing his new granddaughter.
