christmas present for mom

while this young toddler's mom was at work, his babysitter (her boyfriend) brought him over to shoot some photos for a christmas present. he was just darling to photograph!

we made a "chalkboard" out of an old frame and digital words.

pulled out my mini lights for this. haven't used them for several years.

siblings shoot

photographing these kids is always a fun adventure, and they are growing up so fast! i've been lucky to shoot this family for a number of years.

after the group photos we shot some individual portraits. 

this child wanted a serious portrait--he does it well.

this family literally had only one day when they were all available for a family session! i had met and gotten to know the mom and daughters through girls camp at our church. it was nice to meet the rest of the family.
